How to Overcome Driving Anxiety
Driving Anxiety is something that millions of people all of the world struggle with. I didn’t struggle with this until I had a major car accident a little over 2 years ago.
I was t-boned on my drivers side, with 2 feet of intrusion into my car, I broke my back, pelvis, sacrum and had a brain bleed. All 7 of my airbags failed and after 5 days in the hospital, I had to get back in the same model vehicle (since my hubby & I had matching cars - just a different color) that I knew the airbags didn’t work.
Talk about MAJOR anxiety! Then, real-life hit after recovery - I had to drive to take my kids to school. This would paralyze me in fear and send me into an anxiety/panic attack. My mind would race with all the what-ifs. What if it happened again? What if it happened with the kids in the car? What if I didn’t make it out the next time?
It wasn’t until I had developed the Red Balloon Trick that I could use in this real-life situation to help me deal with and overcome my driving anxiety.
Check out the video where I show you how I deal with driving anxiety after a major car accident that almost claimed my life using the Red Balloon Trick *PLUS* for the VERY first time in over 2 years I drive past the spot where it happened!
