Battle ScarsSo many times, we try to push our battles behind us and pretend that they didn’t exist. Almost being embarrassed, upset or angry at times that it happened and covering up the scars that the battle left behind. The oversight that we make is that the scars from the battles make you the beautiful warrior that you are today. We feel that we need someone to validate that we are beautiful and worthy enough – sometimes of just being a human being. Getting scared of the dreams that you have because you doubt yourself and if you are worthy enough. It can be one of the most difficult things that you CAN overcome – just realizing that you are beautiful and worthy just how you are now. Don’t cover up your battles scars – be proud of all that you have been through, they made you who you were meant to be. You are enough right now You are worthy right now You are beautiful right now Every battle that you have gone through was given to you for a reason, just like your dreams were given to you for a reason. Think about it – once you go through a battle, this permanently changes your perspective on your reality. That battle happened and it shaped you – each battle has molded you into the person you are now. Now, you can look back at the battles negatively and be angry or embarrassed that it happened. Or, you can use the battle to your advantage to make you stronger and to grow as a person. Find the lesson hidden in the battle – it’s there, you just have to change your perspective. Maybe the lesson is that you were supposed to go through that to show others that it is possible to come out the other side. Maybe it’s to teach you what you don’t want and what you do want. Whatever the lesson is, learn it and apply it – use the battle lesson and go after ANYTHING you dream of. You were meant to bring those dreams to life, with all your beautiful battle scars. You are the warrior that can bring those dreams to life the way they were intended – they are your dreams and yours alone. Remember… Life is What You Choose XO Renea |
